Operation Christmas Child Program
A huge thank you for all who donated their time, money, or a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child! Rose of Sharon was able to pack 420 during our Sunday fellowship hour. Another 221 boxes were dropped off while we were hosting KTIS 98.5 Shoebox Showdown.
Throughout the following collection week, a total of 2,415 shoeboxes were handled at our drop off site. We also were blessed to receive boxes from other collection sites here in the cites, for a total of 6,311 boxes. These boxes were put in the semis to go to children all over the world to learn about Jesus. What a blessing to help share the news of our Savior's birth!

Prairie Restoration Project In Progress
Rose of Sharon Lutheran is taking several acres of our lawn and restoring it back to natural prairie land. This process takes several years. The wet spring of 2024 has helped establish the prairie that looked very nice. Note that part of establishing the prairie is mowing it down to reduce the number of weeds. We promise it will grow back.

Members of Rose of Sharon are dedicated to supporting human care ministries local and worldwide, including Friends in Need Food Shelf and Feed My Starving Children. Field trips are universally adored! Happy Wanders Trips transform a simple show into an extraordinary event. From the charter bus journey to occupying a restaurant and laughing through a theater performance, it's an absolute delight!
