Youth Education
The youth group meets for Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM following our worship service (September-May). Confirmation instruction classes for the 7th and 8th graders meet on Wednesdays during the school year.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School classes for younger children are held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM (September-May), where they can learn about Christ's love for everyone. Should you have any questions regarding our Youth and Children's Ministries, feel free to contact the church office at 651-459-3551.
LCMS Youth Gathering 2025
The LCMS Youth Gathering, hosted every three years by the LCMS, aims to bolster and inspire its young members. The gathering endeavors to connect youth and adults with Jesus Christ and the church, deepening their understanding of their baptismal faith, develop a resilient identity in Christ for future challenges, and encouraging the pursuit of their unique callings. Spanning five days, it is a blend of faith and enjoyment, featuring worship, large-scale events, breakout sessions, and community service projects.
We are hoping to send a group this coming summer, July 19th-23rd, 2025, to New Orleans, Louisiana to meet with thousands of other LCMS teenagers and adult leaders. Trunks & Treats
The Rosebuds Early Learning Center, together with Rose of Sharon, is hosting a family-friendly Trunk or Treat event on October 25th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, in the church parking lot. Come on over for an enjoyable evening of costumes, candy, food trucks, and a bounce house. Featured food trucks will be Whiskey Creek BBQ and Original Hockey Mom's Brownies.
Parents Night Out
Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church is offering a complimentary Parents' Night Out to the local community. Bring your children on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm for an enjoyable evening filled with food, beverages, games, and more. The event is open to children aged 3 years (who are potty trained) up to 5th grade. The menu will feature pizza, a variety of vegetables, applesauce, and a sweet treat. Options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets will be provided. To register, click below or dial 651-459-3551. This event is free of charge, but availability is limited.
