Confirmation Class
Wednesdays at 5:15 PM. As children grow, their faith often matures alongside them. Confirmation serves to fortify young individuals, typically those in middle school, in their Christian beliefs. Through Luther's Small Catechism, these young Christians are taught the fundamentals of Christian doctrine, the ways in which God richly and daily provides for them, and how to embody their faith in everyday life. Please contact Pastor Schoenfeld for more information.
I Have Good News For You
This study is available upon personal request. This is a Bible study that covers the basic teachings of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. It is an excellent class if you want to learn more about the Lutheran faith or if you are interested in joining the congregation. If you are interested in attending this class, contact Pastor Schoenfeld.
Marriage Preparation
These classes are offered on an as needed basis. "God instituted marriage, so He also sustains marriage. As a man and woman prepare to stand before God and be united in Him as one flesh, let them remember that a foundation on Christ Jesus is paramount. Marriage preparation is about more than just the wedding. It includes matters of household, Christian conflict management and reconciliation, sexual intimacy, and spiritual growth. Preparing for marriage means looking to Christ as the source and perfecter of the love a man and woman have for one another" (Erik M. Lunsford, makingdisciples.lcms.org). If you are interested in attending marriage preparation classes, contact Pastor Schoenfeld.
